Man Found Dead From Traumatic Injuries In Pittsburgh Garage

PITTSBURGH, PA — An investigation continues after a man's body was found in a garage in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said police were called to the 5000 block of Comrie Way in Bloomfield around 7 p.m. after receiving reports of a person found dead.

Officers arrived to find a man’s body in a garage with what public safety officials termed “apparent traumatic injuries.”

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Howard Bauer, 68. As of Monday morning, the cause and manner of death have not been released.

Officials say Bauer's death is being investigated as suspicious.
