National Retailer Opening New Pittsburgh-Area Location

McCANDLESS, PA — A new TJ Maxx store is opening next week in McCandless Crossing, the nation's leading off-price retailer has confirmed.

The store will open at 8 a.m. on Oct. 29.

“We’re thrilled to join the McCandless community,” TJ Maxx president Nancy Carpenter, President of TJ Maxx said in a release. “We look forward to providing local shoppers with an ever-changing selection of high-quality merchandise at exceptional value so they can express their true ‘maxx’ selves.”

The store's regular hours will be 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. seven days a week.

In celebration of the new location, TJ Maxx will contribute to the local community by donating $10,000 to North Hills Food Bank. The new store will also join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring Save the Children’s U.S. Programs through TJ Maxx's annual in-store fundraising campaign.
