1. Pittsburgh flood control project closes Parkway ramps, impacts traffic (wtae.com) — If you drive through downtown Pittsburgh, expect major changes: a $14.34 million flood-control project on the Parkway Central "bathtub" has closed the Grant Street on-ramp to westbound I-376 and the westbound ramp to Stanwix Street for about 10 months. The work aims to reduce frequent flooding and will also cut Mon Wharf parking in half starting Monday, so plan alternate routes and parking now.
