Pittsburgh-Area Town To Debut Craft Beer Beverage Trail

A Pittsburgh-area borough is hoping to boost tourism via a "pour tour" of its breweries, wineries and a distillery.

BUTLER COUNTY, PA — The borough of Zelienople is hoping to boost tourism by creating a new craft beer beverage trail.

Dubbed the Zelie Pour Tour, the trail consists of three breweries, two wineries and a distillery: Burghers Brewing, Lolev Beer, ShuBrew, Urban Vine, Wicked Rabbit and Papa Joe's Wine Cellar.

The six participants all are located within a few blocks of each other.

The Butler Eagle recently reported that a passport is being developed that would include a map and a page for each location. Participants in the self-guided tour would get a stamp at one and possibly could receive a souvenir after finishing the tour.

The beverage trail will take tour participants through the borough's Main Street and potentially drive people to other shops and businesses in the borough.
