Pittsburgh Area Welcomes New Bar-Restaurant

PITTSBURGH, PA — A new tavern has debuted in the suburban Pittsburgh neighborhood of Millvale.

Taproom 616 has opened at - wait for it - 616 North Avenue. The site formerly housed the Barking Shark Saloon.

On its Facebook page, the taproom describes itself as a "small local bar with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious homemade food."

The taproom's menu includes items such as kielbasa and sauerkraut, wings, stuffed peppers, hot sausage and lasagna.

Taproom 616 joins established Millvale restaurants and bars such as Burghers Brewing, Smokeys Tavern, Caesars Alehouse, Cousins Lounge and Harold's Haunt.
