Pittsburgh Restaurant Named One Of The Best New Eateries In U.S.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Yelp's annual list of the best new restaurants in America is out, and a Pittsburgh dining spot made the 2026 ranking.
It's Palm Palm in East Liberty, which debuted in the fall of 2025 and was named the 24th best new restaurant in the country. "This brightly designed newcomer brings a little bit of Palm Springs to Pittsburgh," a Yelp review of the eatery observed.
"This honor means the world to us," said Herky Pollock, CEO of Legacy Hospitality Partners. "We opened Palm Palm believing we could create something unique and special, not just for Pittsburgh, but something that could stand alongside the best restaurants anywhere in the country."

Palm Palm's menu changes seasonally and is paired with staples such as the grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings, tuna sushi tots, truffle Spaghetti-O's and Korean fried chicken.
Yelp chose its Best New Restaurants list by analyzing full-service restaurant data, review volume, ratings, health scores, and curation.
