Owner Beau Mitall, who could not be reached for comment, founded the operation in 2015. It was named after this late mother, Alberta Gail.
Started as a pop-up and then a truck that served more than a dozen breweries and events around the Pittsburgh area, Mitall began making plans for a more permanent home in 2023. The bricks-and-mortar restaurant opened in 2024.
