Tom Brady Opening Sports Trading Cards Store In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — NFL legend and broadcaster Tom Brady is opening a store in Pittsburgh specializing in sports cards, trading cards and authenticated memorabilia.

CardVault by Tom Brady will debut Nov. 20 at The Terminal on Smallman Street in the Strip District. It will be the 20th location of the expanding chain, which recently opened stores in Los Angeles and Indianapolis.

"Pittsburgh is one of America's great sports cities, and we're excited to bring CardVault to its passionate community of fans and collectors," Chris Costa, CardVault co-founder and managing partner, said in a statement. "Our 20th store reflects the momentum we're building nationwide as we introduce a new generation of collectors to the hobby."

The new store will feature a curated selection of single cards, sealed boxes, packs and collectibles from leading brands including Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon and Fanatics Authentic. Customers also can submit cards for professional grading.

The store will also feature CardVault's signature vault, which contains a rotating collection of autographed and authenticated memorabilia, including helmets, jerseys, bats and balls.

A grand opening celebration will take place on Nov. 1 at 10 a.m., with the first 25 customers receiving a limited-edition Pittsburgh-themed CardVault by Tom Brady hat.

Customers also will have a chance to enter to win a baseball signed by Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. Fans in line before the store opens can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Sunday's Steelers game, with the winners announced in-store at 11 a.m.

The store will be open daily from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and will host regular trade nights, special guest appearances, exclusive product launches and community events.
