• Flames wreck Ryan Township home overnight (shensentinel.com) — Ringtown firefighters were among numerous northern Schuylkill County crews battling a major overnight house fire on Williams Street in Ryan Township, which was brought under control in about 40 minutes. No injuries were initially reported, and the cause remains under investigation as departments from several nearby communities assisted.
