Looking forward to the next Newtown Square Farmers Market this Friday! Follow us on social media if you want to see the vendor list for this week, and if you want to know what summer produce Urban Roots will have--rumor is there will be lots of corn and melons and tomatoes! We were missing a few vendors due to vacations last time, but they are all back this Friday, as well as live music with singer/songwriter Clara Trimble, and Birdtown/Environmental Advisory Council at the Community Table! It’s going to be a great day at the market. See you on August 7th!

Derivative, formed in 2024, is a hard rock and grunge band from Ardmore, PA. The band features Eli McLaughlin on drums, Sam Voegele on guitar, Nora Elsasser on guitar, Ryan Delacy on bass, and Max Wilson on vocals.

The Kelly Center does not have a physical box office for advance ticket purchases. You may purchase tickets at a discount on line in advance. Otherwise tickets are full price at the door if any tickets remain.
BYOB is welcome for an additional $5 donation per drinker. Disposable cups and ice provided. No Food is served at the Kelly Center. You can bring in outside food. There is a vending machine with snacks , cold drinks, and coffee pods for a Keurig.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Exciting, spectacular, dazzling, breathtaking, exhilarating, spirited, soulful, enchanting, captivating, and intriguing – modest words which describe but by no means capture the essence of Ukrainian folk art, music, song and dance.From the rich color and deep symbolism of the delicate “pysanka” (Ukrainian Easter Egg) to the thunderous, power, rhythm and strength of “HOPAK” – the world’s most exciting ethnic dance, and every brilliant “Kolomiyka” (polka) and soulful folk song in between, experience the UKRAINIAN FOLK FESTIVAL 2026, celebrating the 35th anniversary of our ancestral homeland’s independence. Enjoy an outdoor summer stage concert and show (1:30 to 4:30 PM), live orchestra music (4:30 – 8:00 PM), traditional Ukrainian foods and baked goods, BBQ pit, standard picnic fare, vendors grove, arts and crafts displays and bazaar, cool adult and soft refreshments, Live exhibitors of Ukrainian history and Ukrainian hospitality.

Church of the Good Shepherd

This summer, Good Shepherd will be hosting a children’s summer camp, running from Monday, August 24th to Wednesday, August 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. All children ages 4 and above are welcome to join us for this camp, which will be full of Bible stories, art and crafts, games, music, and snacks.&nbsp; The camp will conclude with a pizza lunch, to which parents are invited, and the children will have an opportunity to show their artistic and musical achievements over the course of the camp.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Children ages 7 and above will receive high-level instruction in singing along with an introduction to the parish’s highly-regarded <a href="https://www.goodshepherdrosemont.com/good-shepherd-choristers" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">chorister program</a> from Alden Wright, Good Shepherd’s Organist and Director of Music.&nbsp;
