This Week: Cocktails in the Courtyard at Swain School

It's a good Monday for some, as this Monday is state and federal holiday. Here's what you need to know in Salisbury Township this week:

• Monday, which is Columbus Day, is a state and federal holiday. Salisbury Township is open for business Monday. Salisbury School District schools are closed. Lehigh County offices, courts and District Judge offices are open. Most banks are closed. PennDOT driver's license offices are closed. Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered.

• The Swain School, located on S. 24th Street in Salisbury Township, will host "Cocktails in the Courtyard," Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Trexler Courtyard on school grounds. The event honors parents and alumni.

• The Devil's Folly Haunted Attraction, located at 3350 Devonshire Road in Salisbury will be open Friday and Saturday nights, rain or shine. Hours are from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Parking is available for the attraction at the Salisbury Middle School parking lot. 

• The Swain School, will also host Pre-School and Pre-K Building with Our Buddies Night Wednesday at 6 p.m. Each Pre-school and Pre-kindergarten student will bring an adult buddy along to enjoy an evening of fun - stories, projects, music and refreshments.
