• 3 Dead In Pittsburgh-Area Fire (patch.com) — A tragic house fire on Walnut Street in Sandy Lake Township claimed the lives of three family members, including two Lakeview students, early Thursday morning. Two adults escaped, but several pets were lost, and investigators are still determining the cause. Lakeview Local School District in nearby Stoneboro is offering grief counseling to help students and staff cope with the loss.
