• Community rallies around Central Bucks East family after student's death (bucksindependence.com) — Sellersville-born Central Bucks East student Sam Hanson, 16, has died from brain cancer, prompting a major outpouring of community support and donations for his family. Friends, classmates, and neighbors have already raised more than $62,000, and a public celebration of his life is planned for May 9 at Tinicum Park. His obituary remembers a devoted scout, athlete, musician, and loyal friend.
