Painting Foundation Designed for Beginners to Intermediate; Ages 16–Adult • Instructor: Cassaundra Flor

In this course, we will cover oil painting techniques including color mixing, paint application, and how to paint from observation. Students will learn how to translate what they observe into colorful paintings. Color mixing, measuring, blocking in color, atmospheric perspective, and form will all be explored in this course. Students will become confident in painting skills and learn creative paint applications. Weather permitting, experience at least one class painting the landscape outdoors. This class can be repeated for further development of skills.
