Over the following week, classic movies from 1926 and beyond will screen with live musical accompaniment at venues across the region, celebrating the artistry of silent cinema.
• Crash occurs in New Sewickley Township involving pipe/bar; no charges filed (beavercountyradio.com) — State police say no charges will be filed after a recent crash on I-76 in New Sewickley Township, where a pipe or bar allegedly struck a Virginia couple's vehicle and caused a minor injury. Troopers later contacted the other driver, who denied the object came from his truck, and closed the case without citations.
