• Somerset County Deeds office fighting fraud with addition of new alert system (wtaj.com) — Somerset County property owners will soon be able to sign up for free alerts whenever changes are recorded to their deeds or mortgages, helping them spot fraud quickly. The Recorder of Deeds office is adding Landex’s notification system at no cost to taxpayers, using its automation fund, and will also notify registered notaries when their names appear on documents.
