• Middlesex Township hopes to deploy new police K-9 by late May (butlereagle.com) — Swissvale residents may recognize officer Natalie Richards, who previously served in Swissvale Borough and is now leading a new K-9 program in Middlesex Township. She’ll handle a therapy- and tracking-focused police dog expected to be selected in early May and introduced at a July community event, with duties ranging from supporting trauma victims to helping find missing people.
