• Juveniles charged for Tamaqua vehicle damage, theft (republicanherald.com) — Tamaqua Police have charged two juveniles in separate incidents involving attempted vehicle theft at a Lehigh Anthracite property in Tamaqua Borough and extensive damage, burglaries, and a stolen minivan tied to a Spring Street storage site. The Easter weekend crimes caused more than $11,000 in estimated damage, and the youths now face multiple counts including burglary, trespass, and vehicle theft.

• April 17, 2026: Around the Region (republicanherald.com) — Families with babies up to age 2 in the Tamaqua Area School District can receive free baby food and cereal through the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s appointment-only distribution at St. John XXIII Parish Hall.
