• Juveniles charged for Tamaqua vehicle damage, theft (republicanherald.com) — Tamaqua Police have charged two juveniles in separate incidents involving attempted vehicle theft at a Lehigh Anthracite property in Tamaqua Borough and extensive damage, burglaries, and a stolen minivan tied to a Spring Street storage site. The Easter weekend crimes caused more than $11,000 in estimated damage, and the youths now face multiple counts including burglary, trespass, and vehicle theft.
