• Tamaqua teen to sing national anthem at Pocono race (tnonline.com) — A 15-year-old vocalist from Tamaqua, Carly Green, will represent her hometown by singing the national anthem at Friday’s ARCA Menards Series race at Pocono Raceway. Fresh off high-profile performances statewide, she’ll also appear at the Schuylkill United Way Football Challenge and headline Tamaqua’s July 4 celebration at Liberty Tree Park, which residents can plan to attend.
