• PennDOT officially designates part of U.S. Route 15 as I-99 (northcentralpa.com) — Drivers in and around Tioga will now see U.S. Route 15 officially co-signed as Interstate 99 between Williamsport and the New York state line, with new signs already uncovered. The change improves long-term connectivity and economic prospects, but also tightens federal truck weight limits on this stretch, meaning many haulers must adjust loads or reroute using alternate state-approved roads.
