• W&J picked to finish first in PAC football preseason poll (observer-reporter.com) — Waynesburg University’s football team is projected to finish seventh in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference under new head coach Larry Wilson, who’s focused on rebuilding culture and belief. Washington & Jefferson tops the preseason poll, but Wilson says the Yellowjackets made strides in spring and opens their season at home against Capital before starting PAC play at Allegheny on September 19.
