• More Than 20 Dead Cats Found In Pittsburgh-Area Home (patch.com) — West Newton police are investigating a disturbing case in which more than 20 cats were found dead from starvation in a local residence, leading to multiple animal cruelty charges. Authorities say a Charleroi man allegedly failed to care for the animals over many months, despite sending reassuring photos and messages to the owner.
