• Hello Kitty Collectibles Await Chester County Blood Donors (mychesco.com) — West Chester residents can donate blood at the Andrew Drive donation center and several mobile drives around town and Chester County from September 1–20, earning a Hello Kitty collectible while supplies last. With the Red Cross warning of weather-related disruptions and lower fall donor turnout, local appointments are encouraged and can be made online, via app, or by phone.
   

• West Chester Christkindlmarkt To Feature More Than 100 Vendors at December Holiday Market (wmmr.com) — Downtown West Chester will host the seventh annual Christkindlmarkt on Saturday, Dec. 12, featuring more than 100 artists, makers, and food vendors along Gay and Church streets.
