• Warm Yogurt, Rusted Shelves Among Chester County Violations (mychesco.com) — Chester County health inspectors recently cited three food operations, including Aramark's kitchen at Fugett Middle School in West Chester, for issues ranging from warm yogurt to poor ventilation. Several West Chester establishments, such as Saxbys Coffee and WCU Commons, passed inspection. Residents can report suspected food safety problems or illness directly to the county health department.
   

• Pennsylvania Awards $751,400 for Two Chester County Parks (mychesco.com) — From West Chester, residents are learning that Pennsylvania has committed $751,400 to improve two nearby Chester County parks, funding new sports courts at Exton Park and further upgrades at Bacton Hill Park. These grants, part of a much larger statewide recreation investment, solidify state backing for local outdoor facilities that many West Chester families regularly use.
