• Berkshire Mall sale closing postponed until September (readingeagle.com) — Wyomissing officials say the Berkshire Mall sale to developer Abrams Realty has been delayed until at least September, slowing plans to largely demolish and rebuild the site as an open-air, mixed-use center. While tenant negotiations and financing continue, borough council has hired a specialized attorney to represent community interests in the high-stakes redevelopment talks. 
• Penn State Berks students conduct impactful research across diverse fields (psu.edu) — Penn State Berks students in Wyomissing are deeply involved in hands-on research, from 3D-printed folding structures to bird foraging and the impact of vanishing local news. Their projects were showcased at the Berks Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium and the countywide Higher Education Council event, giving undergrads valuable presentation experience and recognition.
