Dog Wardens Plan Door-To-Door Canvass In Bucks County
Multiple wardens will canvass Bucks County in April. Residents with unlicensed or unvaccinated pets face fines of up to $300 per animal.

Is your dog properly licensed? Vaccinated for rabies? You better double check.
The Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement will be conducting a license and vaccination canvas across Bucks County next month. The canvas is planned for April 25, according to sources.
"Multiple wardens" will be going door-to-door throughout Bucks County to check the status of residents' dog licenses and rabies vaccinations, Solebury Township said in an announcement.

Residents with unlicensed dogs face fines of up to $300 per animal.
Owners of non-vaccinated pets can also be fined up to $300 per animal. Under Pennsylvania law, dogs and cats three months or older must have a current rabies vaccination.

In Pennsylvania, all dogs three months or older must be licensed annually by Jan. 1.
An annual license is $8.50 and a lifetime license is $51.50. If your dog is spayed or neutered, the annual fee is $6.50 and lifetime is $31.50.
To license your pet online, go to www.padoglicense.com. You can also contact register your dog in person at the Bucks County Administration Building in Doylestown, the Lower Bucks County Government Services Center in Levittown, or the Upper Bucks County Government Services Center in Quakertown.
