• PA's First Black Mayor Getting Memorialized In Yardley (patch.com) — Yardley Borough Council has officially named the Buttonwood Park pavilion the Mayor Edward E. Robinson Memorial Pavilion, honoring Pennsylvania's first elected Black mayor and lifelong Yardley resident. Local nonprofit Gather Place is now launching a fundraising campaign to design and install permanent memorial signage, inviting Yardley individuals, businesses, and community groups to participate in preserving this chapter of borough history.
