Kayaker Rescued After Overturning On Delaware River

MORRISVILLE, PA — The Morrisville Fire Company helped rescue a kayaker who overturned on the Delaware River on Friday.

The fire company and the Trenton Fire Department responded at 12:28 p.m. on Friday to the Delaware River near the Route 1 Bridge for a reported marine rescue.

Rescuers found the overturned kayaker in the water.

The kayaker was located just south of the railroad bridge and was rescued by emergency personnel.

Authorities said the kayaker was transported to the shore and evaluated by medics.
