• David Herman Cook 1936-2026 (fcfreepresspa.com) — York Springs residents are mourning longtime community member David Herman Cook, 89, whose Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in town on Friday, May 8, 2026. A life member of the York Springs Fire Company and Lions Club, Cook is remembered for his service, work in local industries, and deep family ties across the region.
