• Investigators allege teacher posed as FBI agent to exploit kids (rilawyersweekly.com) — A former Barrington Christian Academy teacher now faces new federal charges alleging sexual exploitation of a minor in 2011, on top of earlier state and federal counts. Investigators say concerns raised by a Barrington student's parent in May led to a broader probe involving local police and federal agencies, with allegations that he posed as an FBI agent to manipulate minors online.
   

• If bus drivers strike, Barrington Public Schools have a plan (eastbayri.com) — Barrington Public Schools have laid out detailed contingency plans in case First Student bus drivers strike next week, and classes will remain open even if regular buses stop running.
