• Barrington Council Amends MTG Disposal Trash Contract (upriseri.com) — Barrington's Town Council has amended its trash contract so residents can swap 95-gallon carts for smaller 64-gallon versions for free and secure up to 200 extra 95-gallon carts at no charge before a $50 fee kicks in. After sharp questioning about missed pickups, communication gaps, and call-center responses, councilors also scheduled a November follow-up to review how the rollout is working for households.
