• FBI And RISP Arrest Central Falls Man On Gun Charges: Cops (patch.com) — Federal and state investigators arrested 20-year-old Ruben Josue Depina Andrade of Central Falls on multiple gun-related charges following an early-morning operation on Sept. 22. Authorities say the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and Rhode Island State Police Intelligence Unit led the investigation, and Andrade was arraigned as a bail violator in Sixth Division District Court. 
• Release on bail granted pending extradition (rilawyersweekly.com) — A federal judge has ordered the release on bail of a Turkish woman who has spent more than two years at Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls while Türkiye seeks her extradition on an embezzlement charge. Citing long delays and likely bail eligibility abroad, the court found "special circumstances" justifying her release during the remaining proceedings.
