• Hopkinton Board Tables Soil Erosion Ordinance Draft (upriseri.com) — Hopkinton residents may soon face new rules for erosion and runoff as the Planning Board revises a proposed soil erosion ordinance and continues its discussion at a special meeting on September 23 at 7 p.m. The draft would create a three-tier permitting system, add a $75 homeowner filing option, and define which professionals can certify plans, but concerns about homeowner burdens, enforcement, and appeals still need to be resolved.
