• Speeding Vehicle Found Smashed Against Tree: Hopkinton Police (patch.com) — Hopkinton residents are being urged to contact police if they witnessed a high-speed crash on High Street in Ashaway that left a 20-year-old local driver seriously injured. Police say the car passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone before being found heavily damaged against a tree near Trinity Lutheran Church, with firefighters and EMTs coordinating an airlift to Rhode Island Hospital. 
• Chariho Committee Approves Elementary Campus Stage II (upriseri.com) — Hopkinton voters will soon help decide a roughly $116 million bond for a new unified elementary campus serving the Chariho district, with the project now cleared to appear on the ballot. The school committee also declined to seek a legal opinion on a proposed transgender sports eligibility policy, and residents, including a Hopkinton speaker, raised concerns about transparency, student mental health, and project details.
