• CRMC approves key SouthCoast Wind permit over objections from fishing industry (pbn.com) — Little Compton joined Middletown in opposing the SouthCoast Wind cable route, citing environmental, noise, and traffic concerns, though town officials weren’t immediately available to comment. Despite objections from fishing interests and these towns, the state’s Coastal Resources Management Council unanimously approved a key permit with a compensation package for anglers and strict environmental conditions.
