• First Aquidneck Island-Wide Climate Resilience Plan Takes Shape (ecori.org) — Portsmouth is part of a new island-wide climate resilience plan that will shape how Aquidneck Island prepares for flooding, transportation disruptions, and threats to food and housing. Aquidneck Resilience is holding listening sessions through the fall, gathering residents' ideas on safer streets, stronger food systems, and coastal protection before drafting a strategy that will guide concrete actions through at least 2027.
