Cranston Man Charged With Receiving Stolen Goods: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Cranston man was charged with receiving stolen goods, police said.

Jose Breton, 23, was pulled over on Farragut Street in Providence about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and arrested on a charge of receiving less than $1,500 worth of stolen goods, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Breton was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and "held overnight pending arraignment in Sixth Division District Court, where he will be presented as a probation violator," the release said.
