Hope Man Charged With Stealing More Than $10K In Property: Cops
He surrendered to the law following an investigation, police said.
HOPE, RI — A Hope man was charged with obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property under false pretenses, police said.
Joel Johnson, 28, was also charged with accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Johnson surrendered to the law at the Scituate Barracks and was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday, according to the release.
He was processed, arraigned and issued a court date, the release said.
