MA Man Wanted On Bad Check Charge Nabbed In Providence: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Massachusetts man wanted on a bad check charge was apprehended in Providence, police said.

Nuno Carvalho, 51, was pulled over and arrested on Route 6 in Providence shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sept. 8, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Carvalho, a resident of Fall River, was wanted by the Tiverton Police Department on a charge of bad checks over $1,500, according to the release.

Carvalho was processed at the Lincoln Woods and turned over to the Tiverton Police Department, the release said.
