Providence Probation Violator Arrested During Traffic Stop: Cops
The Providence woman was taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman on probation was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
Shakira Gomez Sanchez, 29, was pulled over on Hartford Avenue in Providence shortly before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Sanchez was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned and taken to the Adult Correction Institutions Women's Intake Center as a probation violator, according to the release.
