Providence Woman Charged With Throwing Article At Moving Vehicle: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman was charged with throwing an article at a moving vehicle, police said.

Carmen Cortes was arrested shortly before 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Cortes was also charged with vandalism, according to the release.

Cortes was arrested at her Bodell Avenue home, the release said.

She was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
