• Public Notice Proposed Clean Water Infrastructure Replacement Plan Update for The Town of South Kingstown (einpresswire.com) — South Kingstown residents are being asked to weigh in on an updated Clean Water Infrastructure Replacement Plan for Veolia Water Wakefield, with written comments due within 30 days of the April 16 notice. If enough requests are received by April 26, a public hearing will be held May 4 in Providence, where locals can share concerns about future drinking water infrastructure investments.
   

• URI to award honorary degrees to entrepreneurs Marc Randolph and Dan Harple, and anti-poverty advocate Kate Brewster (uri.edu) — A familiar South Kingstown leader is getting statewide recognition: Kate Brewster, longtime CEO of the Jonnycake Center for Hope, will receive an honorary degree from URI during May commencement. She’s being honored alongside Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph and tech entrepreneur Dan Harple for her work expanding food, housing, and youth support for thousands of local residents.

    It says “stay off for 48 hours “, but it doesn’t have any date on it. What good is that unless you know when it was posted? (Nextdoor Biscuit City)
