Historic Tiverton Four Corners Walking Tour

Want to know where a British spy was captured by a housewife or where the infamous Whipping Post was (or is)? Do you know where Pittsville was or where Gray's Ice Cream originated? The Tiverton Historical Society offers walking tours of the Tiverton Four Corners area on alternating Saturdays this summer, highlighting 18 historic buildings and sites, and the people who lived in the area at that time. 

Tours start at 3 PM in the Chace-Cory House parking lot and will not be held if it is raining. You must reserve a place before your tour date or no guide will show, and you'll miss the surprise at the end (outreach@tivertonhistorical.org). 

Dates: June 13, 27; July 11, 25; August 1, 15, 29. 

THS donation: $5/person; free for THS members and kids 12 & younger.
