Providence Woman Charged With Threatening Public Officials, DUI After Crash: Cops
The woman was hospitalized before she was taken to a state police barracks, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Providence woman was charged with threatening public officials and driving under the influence following a crash in Warwick, police said.
Andrea Russell, 43, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday by troopers "responding to a motor vehicle collision" on Interstate 95, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Russell was charged with DUI, refusing to submit to a chemical test, driving with a suspended license and threatening public officials, the release said.

Russell was taken to Kent County Hospital in Warwick for an evaluation, according to the release.
"She was then transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and held pending morning arraignment where she would be presented as a bail violator.," the release said.
