Warwick Woman Arrested On Fraud Charges: Cops
The Warwick woman was arrested at her Bald Hill Road home, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Warwick woman was arrested on fraud charges, police said.
Misty Machado, 47, was arrested Wednesday on charges of obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretense or personation, accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, identity fraud, bank fraud, and the fraudulent use of a credit card, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Troopers responded to Machado's residence where she was located and taken into custody," the release said.

Machado was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
