• Homeless in RI: Woonsocket Shelter Resident's Recovery with GLP-1 Treatment (rinewstoday.com) — A Woonsocket woman's recovery from alcoholism began at OpenDoors' Cumberland Street shelter, where she joined a program combining housing support with GLP-1 medication. Now stably housed and reunited with family, she's part of a broader Rhode Island effort testing this treatment approach for justice-involved women and shelter residents. 
• Three people arrested after disturbance at bowling alley (wpri.com) — Police in Cranston arrested three people, including a 19-year-old man from Woonsocket, after a late-night disturbance at Lang's Bowlarama involving a loaded, stolen handgun. Officers say a caller's tip and coordinated response with state and Providence police helped them safely disarm the suspect and restore order inside the bowling alley.
