Woonsocket Man Harbored Criminal: Cops

WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man harbored a criminal, police said.

Joseph Carvalho, 27, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Major Crimes Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Carvalho was processed at State Police Headquarters, special arraigned by a justice of the peace, and turned over to officials at the Adult Correction Institutions Intake Center pending his arraignment in Sixth Division District Court, the release said.

State police Lt. Col. Robert Creamer failed to respond to a request for additional information on Carvalho's arrest.
