Woonsocket Man Stole More Than $10K Worth Of Property: Police
The Woonsocket man also accessed a computer for fraudulent purposes, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man stole more than $10,000 worth of property, police said.
Michael Lane, 34, was arrested shortly after 2:15 p.m. Friday on a warrant charging him with obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretenses or personation and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Cranston Police locating the subject," the release said.

Lane was taken from the Cranston Police Department to state police headquarters where he was processed, arraigned and released with a court date, police said.
