• ‘He wanted so much more in life': Family remembers Aynor shooting victim (wbtw.com) — Aynor residents are reeling after a fatal shooting on 11th Avenue that claimed the life of 34-year-old Calvin Smith of Galivants Ferry. Family members remember him as a devoted father who had just graduated from Horry-Georgetown Technical College and was working toward owning a business. Police say the shooting followed an argument and are still investigating what led up to the violence.
