• Charges against Chesterfield Co. man dismissed during trial (wpde.com) — A Chesterfield County man saw all charges against him dropped mid-trial, after prosecutors ended the case before the defense presented any evidence. Jurors later indicated they would have voted not guilty based on what they’d heard. The case involved an alleged deadly dog attack investigated by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and state agents, and had dragged on for more than four years.
