Second suspect captured after Conway police search (wpde.com) ā€” Conway Police say the second suspect who ran from a vehicle during a downtown traffic stop has now been captured, ending a search near Oak Street and Mill Pond Road. Officers first tried to stop the car Tuesday morning, quickly catching one person before the second fled. Authorities havenā€™t yet released details about the suspects or potential charges.

University Boulevard reopens after $7.4M project (wbtw.com) ā€” University Boulevard at Coastal Carolina University in Conway has reopened after a $7.4 million upgrade that reroutes traffic, adds lanes, and improves sidewalks and crosswalks along the Highway 544 corridor. The new fourā€‘lane configuration and signal are meant to ease congestion and boost safety for students, workers, visitors, and nearby Conway drivers ahead of the fall semester.
